What this site is, and isn't
It explains how to check a child care provider yourself, how Nevada's child care assistance works, how pre-K enrollment works in Clark County and what care has cost here according to federal data. It is not a directory. We don't list daycares, we don't rate or review them, and we don't take bookings or inquiries. If that ever changes, every listing will carry a license number we've checked against the state's records, with the date we checked it, and any paid placement will be labeled on the page.
How we check facts
Every fact comes from the agency or program responsible for it: the Nevada Division of Social Services, the Nevada Department of Education, the Clark County School District, the federal Head Start program or the U.S. Department of Labor. Each page lists its sources and the date we last checked them. When we can't confirm something, we leave it out. We don't invent prices, waitlist times or statistics.
Photos and privacy
We don't publish photos of children. The site has no forms and doesn't collect personal information from parents or children.
